CHICKEN CHOW MEIN | |
2 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. chopped onion 1 c. whole button mushrooms 1 1/2 c. shredded cooked chicken 1 c. diced celery 1 1/2 c. meat stock 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. sugar Brown lightly the onion and mushrooms in the butter. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. After simmering 15 minutes blend and stir into meat mixture: 3 tbsp. cold water Cook until slightly thick and clear. Serve hot over hot chow mein noodles. Additional soy sauce may be of use as you prefer. |
