FUDGE LAYER BARS 
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. Eagle Brand sweetened milk
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. quick-cooking oatmeal

Melt together first 4 ingredients, then add nuts, and vanilla. Set aside.

Cream together the butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, soda, salt. Add oatmeal. Press 2/3 of mixture in greased 9x13 inch pan. Spread chocolate filling over crust and crumble remaining mixture over the filling. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
