COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. warm water
1 cake or pkg. of yeast
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1 c. pecans
7 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in water; add other ingredients stirring in flour well and evenly. Do not knead by hand. Let rise. Stir down and pat out in greased 9 x 14 x 2 pan. Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees; about 45 minutes or until nicely brown.
