BOSTON BROWN BREAD 
1 box raisins (15 oz.)
3 tsp. baking soda
1 stick butter
2 1/8 c. water

Bring to boil. Let cool. After cooled, mix in: 2 c. sugar 3 eggs 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Bake in 300 degree oven. 6 mini loaf pans - 30 minutes. 3 regular pans - 60 minutes.
