CHICKEN IN STEWED TOMATOES 
1 whole chicken
2 cans stewed tomatoes, chopped
1/4 c. butter
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
(In Summer use) :
6 lg. ripe tomatoes
1 lg. green pepper
2 lg. onions
2 ribs celery

Brown cut up chicken to golden brown. Pour over tomatoes. Add bay leaves, Italian seasoning and parsley. Cover and let simmer until cooked completely, about 1 1/2 hours. Serve over butter noodles.

In summer or when fresh vegetables available. Dice all vegetables. Cover chicken with them. Follow same. Best served over butter noodles.
