FROSTED JELLO SALAD 
1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 c. 7-Up
1 c. sm. marshmallows
2 lg. chopped bananas
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
1/2 c. pecans

FROSTING:

2 tbsp. butter
1 c. pineapple juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 pt. whipped cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour

Mix Jello according to directions substituting 7-Up for cold water, then add other ingredients. Jell.

FROSTING: Mix together sugar and flour. Mix butter, pineapple juice and egg in saucepan over low heat. Add sugar and flour and continue stirring until thick. Add vanilla. Chill and then fold in whipped cream. Put on Jello and top with Cheddar cheese, if desired.
