SIX LAYER DINNER 
2 c. diced potatoes
1/2 c. raw rice
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. diced carrots
Salt and pepper
1 c. diced onion
3 c. canned tomatoes OR 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup and 2 c. water

All vegetables are uncooked, peeled and diced. Spread layers of vegetables, rice and meat in baking dish in order given, seasoning as needed. Mix water and soup (or use canned tomatoes) and pour over all. Bake in moderate oven until rice is tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
