MOM'S DANDELION SALAD | |
1/4 lb. bacon 2 heaping tbsp. flour 2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. vinegar, scant 3 boiled potatoes, sliced 1 sm. onion, chopped 2-3 handfuls dandelion greens, chopped Fry bacon until crisp; remove from drippings. Stir flour and milk into drippings to make a paste; bring to boil. Add the salt, sugar, and vinegar. Add potatoes; mix and cool. Add bacon bits and onion to chilled, washed dandelion greens. Mix and serve. |
