INDIAN PUDDING 
1 qt. milk, heated
5 tbsp. cornmeal
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger

Cook all above ingredients on top of stove until it boils, stirring often. It may look curdled, but it is all right. Add: 1 c. cold milk

Beat all together until well mixed. Pour into buttered baking dish, 9"x13". Bake in 300 degree oven for about an hour.
