CARAMEL RIBBON BROWNIES 
24 (7 oz. pkg.) caramels
2/3 c. canned milk
1 (2 layer) size devil's food Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

In pan, cook caramels and 2 tablespoons milk over low heat until melted (or melt in microwave). In mixing bowl, combine remaining milk, cake mix, nuts and butter; mix well. Spread over half of the mixture into greased 7x11 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on hot crust. Drizzle caramel on top. Drop remaining cake mixture over this and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes more. Cut into bars while hot. Cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
