CRANBERRY FRUIT NUT BREAD | |
2 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 3/4 c. orange juice 1 well-beaten eggs 2 tbsp. shortening 1 tbsp. grated orange peel 1 c. Ocean Spray fresh or frozen coarsely chopped cranberries 1/2 c. chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add orange juice, egg, shortening and orange peel to dry ingredients. Mix until well blended. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Turn into a 9x5 inch pan, greased on bottom only. Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool thoroughly before serving. |
