1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg 2 tbsp. milk 1 c. raisins Combine flour, soda, spices and salt. Beat butter for 30 seconds; add brown sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop from teaspoon, 2 inches apart, onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on racks. |
