MACARONI AND CHEESE DELUXE | |
Begin with only the freshest of ingredients. I often take the Macaroni and Cheese box from the back of the grocery shelf. They put the older ones up front. Boil your water. They tell you to measure it... I never do. Add a little salt. Pour in the Macaroni and let it boil. After it has boiled over on your stove top, you may want to turn down the heat. The white, foamy stuff that is now on the stove top should be cleaned off within the next month! Drain the Macaroni. There are many methods. You can put a lid on the pan and turn it over into the sink but you may burn the hairs on your arm off! It may also singe your eyebrows or steam your glasses, in which case, you will think you have been blinded. Add the orange stuff in the packet to the drained macaroni along with milk and butter. (Helpful hint: You do not have to smoosh the butter into a cup to measure it. There are measurements on the side of the foil in which the butter is wrapped. If you have already thrown the foil away, smoosh on!) Stir everything together thoroughly. Then put on plate. Add garnish Garnish is that stuff that nobody eats but it looks pretty. Garnish should go with the color yellow! Serves at least five. |
