SWEDISH HAM BALLS
1 lb. smoked ham, ground
1 1/2 lb. ground lean pork
4 c. fresh bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. water

Combine ham, pork, bread crumbs, eggs and milk; mix well. Shape into small balls. Place close together in a large jelly roll pan on one layer. Chill 1 hour. Combine brown sugar and dry mustard in a saucepan. Add vinegar and water. Heat, stirring, just long enough to dissolve sugar. Pour over chilled ham balls.

Bake uncovered in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes or until well browned and glazed. (Baste and turn occasionally while baking.) Transfer glazed ham balls to a chafing dish or serving casserole placed over a heating device. Have toothpicks available. Note: Ham balls should be baked and served immediately. When reheated they will harden and lose their glaze.
