SCALLOPED MUSHROOMS 
1 1/2 lbs. fresh mushrooms, sliced
3 c. soft bread crumbs, whirled in blender
3/4 c. melted butter
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. dry white wine

Place 1/3 mushrooms in buttered 2 quart baking dish. Cover with 1/3 bread crumbs. Drizzle 1/3 butter over this. Salt and pepper. Repeat layers - top with mushrooms - salt and pepper. Pour wine over it. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Mix remaining crumbs with butter, spread over mushroom dish. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes or until crumbs are brown. Serves 12.
