REFRIGERATOR STRAWBERRY JAM 
2 c. (1 pt.) strawberries washed and hulled
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. powdered fruit pectin

Slice strawberries into 2-quart bowl. Mash well. Stir in sugar and pectin thoroughly. Microwave 4 minutes on high, or until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.

Reduce setting. Microwave 5 or 6 minutes until mixture is slightly thickened. It will thicken more as it cools. Pour into glasses. Cover with plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
