DANISH ROMME GROT 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. flour
2 c. half & half
4 c. whole milk
1/4 c. (or less) granulated sugar
Dash of salt

Heat milk, half and half, and sugar until hot in 2 quart saucepan. Melt butter in large pan, stir in flour until smooth. Slowly add milk mixture. Bring to boil, beating with rotary beater until thick and smooth. Add salt to taste. Pour into bowls (1/2 cup per serving) and add melted butter and cinnamon sugar as desired.
