1 sm. can Pet milk
3 c. sugar
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. Nestles Quick
2-3 c. pecans

Combine the first 4 ingredients. Mix well and bring to a boil. Do not stir while mixture is boiling. Test the mixture periodically for the soft ball stage. (To test, drop a few drops of mixture into a cup of cold water.) When the mixture forms a soft ball, add pecans and mix well. When all pecan pieces are coated, drop by tablespoonful onto waxed side of freezer paper. Let set for a few minutes until cool and pick up. Makes 3-4 dozen, depending on size.
