1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 can cream style corn
1 egg

Mix all ingredients well and drop by rounded teaspoonfuls in hot cooking oil.
