INDIVIDUAL MEAT LOAVES | |
2 lbs. ground chuck 1 lb. ground lean pork 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs 2 eggs, beaten 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Mix all together and form into individual loaves or balls. (Should make about 4 loaves per pound of meat). Arrange in a sheet baking pan so they just touch each other. Mix and pour sauce over loaves so they are well coated. Turn loaves or baste to keep them covered with sauce while baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done. SAUCE FOR LOAVES: 1 c. catsup 3 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 c. water 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. A-1 sauce Mix together and pour over meat loaves. (Mix more if necessary to keep the loaves coated.) |
