ROBINSON BLACK EYED PEAS 
1 lb. black eyed peas with seasons
4 1/2 c. water, soak black eyes for 2 hours
6 smoked neck bones
1 onion, diced
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Boiled neck bones until tender. Add peas to boiling water in 2 quart sauce pan. Boil 5 minutes removing from heat. Cover and let stand for one hour. Stir neck bones, onions into peas, heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until peas are tender for approximately 1/2 hour. Servings for 6.
