SLIM'S STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. beef chunks
1/4 to 1/2 c. flour
1 lg. and 1 med. onion
6 to 8 c. water
6 to 7 carrots, sliced
3 to 6 beef bouillon cubes
Pinch of rosemary
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 bay leaves
1/4 tsp. marjoram
5 to 7 potatoes, cubed
1 (16 oz.) can corn
1 (16 oz.) can peas
Wondra flour

In large pot, add cooking oil to cover bottom. Flour beef chunks. Brown in oil. Add onions (cut small but not chopped), salt and pepper. Brown together until onions are clear but not mushy. Add water. Add vegetables, bouillon cubes and spices. Simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add potatoes and simmer 1/2 hour. Add corn and peas. Add salt and/or pepper to taste. Simmer until vegetables are cooked. Add water as necessary throughout cooking time. Add Wondra flour and cook 1/2 hour more.
