TACO SALAD | |
1 lb. ground lean beef 1 sm. can kidney beans 1 pkg. taco seasoning 1 head lettuce 1 lg. sweet onion 3-4 tomatoes, diced 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 med. bag Nacho flavor tortilla chips 1 c. French style salad dressing 1. Brown ground beef and drain well. 2. Add kidney beans (drained) and 1/2 of package taco seasoning and 2 tablespoons water. Simmer 10 minutes. Cool. 3. Mix rest of taco seasoning with 1 cup French dressing. 4. Shred lettuce, add onion cut into thin rings, diced tomatoes, cheese and the beef-bean mixture. 5. Add salad dressing to toss. 6. Just before serving, add broken tortilla chips. Mix again. |
