CREAM CHEESE CAKE COOKIES 
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk

Cream butter with brown sugar in a small bowl. Add flour and nuts. Mix to make a crumb mixture. Reserves 1 cup for top. Press remainder into bottom of 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

Meanwhile, blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
