FRESH APPLE BUTTER CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. peeled, chopped apples

Combine butter and sugar in bowl and cream until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together and add to creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla; fold in apples.

Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees until tester comes out clean. Remove from oven and let stand on cooling rack for 15 minutes. Turn onto cake plate.
