PEPPERMINT DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 sqs. baking chocolate
2 c. tiny marshmallows
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites, beaten
6 (6 inch) long candy canes, crushed
16 crushed vanilla wafers
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Cream together butter and powdered sugar with electric mixer (until crumbly). Melt chocolate and add (when cool, but still melted) the butter and sugar mixture. Add 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten and beaten egg whites.

In separate bowl, whip cream and add marshmallows and crushed peppermint. Crush vanilla wafer very fine. Butter 9 x 9 inch pan. Pour in 3/4 of wafers. Cover with chocolate mixture. Cover with whipped cream mix. Sprinkle rest of crumbs over. Chill overnight.
