HAWAIIAN BANANA BREAD 
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
6 ripe bananas, mashed
4 well beaten eggs
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs and then bananas. Sift dry ingredients together three times. Blend wet and dry ingredients (DO NOT OVERMIX!). Pour into two lightly greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Makes two; one pound loaves, or four; 1/2 pound loaves. This bread may be stored for several days or eaten immediately. May also be frozen for the ultimate lazy cook.
