4 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. Karo syrup
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
2/3 c. chunky peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Blend oatmeal, brown sugar, melted butter, Karo syrup, vanilla and salt. Spread in 8 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

Melt chocolate chips. Blend in peanut butter. Spread on cookies. Cool and cut into strips.
