BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
3 bananas
3 sticks butter
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 eggs
2 c. powdered sugar
1 (#1) can crushed pineapple
2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 sm. can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 jar maraschino cherries
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip

Mix 1 melted stick butter with wafers and put in 9x13 inch pan. Beat 2 eggs, 2 butter and 2 cups sugar for 15 minutes with electric mixer. Spread mixture over crust and cover with sliced bananas, cut lengthwise. Drain pineapple and spread over bananas. Cover all with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts and decorate with cherries and syrup. Refrigerate overnight. Serves 15.
