EVA ADAMS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Chocolate Cake:

1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
4 eggs
1 cup plain flour
1 large can chocolate syrup
dash of salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add flour. Alternately add chocolate and salt to mixture. Place in a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.

Icing for Chocolate Cake:

1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1/3 cup can milk
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Bring to rolling boil, sugar, butter and milk. Add chips. Stir until melted. Pour over hot cake.
