PUMPKIN RAISIN COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 beaten eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. pumpkin filling
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1 c. raisins

Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat eggs in other bowl. Add both sugars, shortening, pumpkin filling, vanilla and milk. Mix. Add flour to sugar mixture. Blend. Add raisins. Drop on greased cookie sheets. Bake 15-18 minutes. 350 degree oven.

SO good. I used my home made pumpkin butter and left out the spices in theflour mix. The cookies turned out nice, soft and very tasty. I no shortening at hand, but lard did a good job too. Great recipe.
