IRISH SODA BREAD (LOW
CHOLESTEROL)
 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. sugar
2 c. raisins
1 egg (or 2 egg whites)
1 pt. buttermilk
2 oz. butter, melted

Combine and mix well all ingredients. Put in 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Freezes well.
