RAISIN COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 tbsp. milk
4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Prepare dough. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet. Make indentation on each cookie with spoon. Fill each with raisin mixture. Bake at 375 degrees approximately 12 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 box raisins
1 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
Cornstarch, enough to thicken, approximately 2 tbsp.

Combine filling ingredients, cook until thickened.
