CHOURICO AND PEPPERS | |
2 lbs. chourico 3 green peppers (chopped) 4 med. onions (chopped) 1 can (10 oz.) tomato puree 2 tbsp. sugar Cook peppers in frying pan 1/4 full of water until tender; then cook onions until tender. Cook chourico in pan about 1/2 full of water for about 30 minutes. Remove chourico from grease and water and put into large pot. Add onion, peppers, white pepper and sugar. Add 1/4 cup of water and tomato puree. Bring to boil and then lower heat to simmer for 2 hours. St. Brendan's |
