FRESH PEACH AND CUSTARD PIE | |
6 or 7 fresh peaches, peeled & sliced 1 unbaked pie shell 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 3 eggs, slightly beaten 3 tbsp. cream 1 tsp. almond extract Mix flour and sugar and put 1/2 the amount into the unbaked pie shell. Add the prepared peaches. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over the peaches. Mix together eggs, cream and almond extract. Pour over peaches. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and then lower temperature to 350 degrees. Bake 30 minutes more or until custard is set. Test for doneness with silver knife. |
