CORNBREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1 egg
2 heaping tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. cooking oil
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Stir all ingredients together. Put into well-greased 9-inch pan. Bake in oven about 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
