MOSTACCIOLI AND SAUSAGE | |
1 1/2 lb. link Italian sausage, sliced 1 c. chopped onions 3/4 c. green pepper 2 (26 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated 1 lb. mostaccioli, cooked and drained 2 tbsp. olive oil In a large saucepan brown sausage. Pour off fat. Add onions and green peppers; cook and stir until tender. Add spaghetti sauce and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss hot cooked mostaccioli with olive oil to coat. Serve with sauce. Serves 6-8. |
