CHICKEN WITH ALMONDS | |
1/2 c. ground almonds 8 to 10 chicken thighs 1 tbsp. unsweetened coconut 2 cloves garlic 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 3 cloves 2 tsp. coriander 1 tsp. cumin powder 1 tsp. turmeric 2 med. size onions, ground 1 tsp. paprika 3 tbsp. cooking oil 1. Grind in blender the almonds, coconut, ginger, garlic, turmeric, paprika, and cloves. Keep aside. 2. Fry onions well in cooking oil. 3. Add the above mixture, cook at least 15 to 20 minutes on medium heat. Add water if needed. 4. Mix it chicken pieces and cook for 10 more minutes. 5. Place pan in oven and continue cooking for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. |
