ICE CREAM 
5 or 6 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
2 pkgs. Knox gelatin
1/2 c. cold milk
1/2 c. boiling water
2 half-pints whipping cream
1 pt. Half and Half
Enough milk to fill freezer

Beat eggs, salt and vanilla until frothy, add sugar - continue beating. Soften gelatin in milk, then add boiling water to dissolve. Add slowly to egg mixture while beating. Then add whipping cream and Half and Half. Finish filling 5-quart freezer with whole milk and freeze.
