1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients except nuts in top part of double boiler. Place over simmering water. Stir until smooth. Add nuts. Spread candy quickly into buttered pan. Cool and cut into squares.
