STEAK SALAD | |
3 lbs. beef sirloin steak (1 1/2 inch thick) 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sauteed 2 green peppers, cut in pieces 2/3 c. red wine-vinegar 1/2 c. salad oil 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. onion salt 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. tarragon 2 cloves garlic, crushed Tomatoes (optional) Broil meat to medium (15 minutes on each side). Cool, cut meat into bite-size pieces and place in a bowl. Add mushrooms and green peppers. Combine vinegar, oil, and vegetables. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Can add tomato pieces just before serving (optional). |
