TEXAS HASH 
1 sm. pkg. hamburger
1 1/2 green peppers
1 med. onion
1/2 qt. tomatoes
2 tbsp. Crisco
1/2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 c. macaroni
Dash of salt

Melt 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons Crisco in skillet. Chop up onion and green pepper. Add chopped ingredients to skillet and let simmer. Crumble hamburger in skillet and cook until almost brown. Drain off excess grease. Add tomatoes, salt, chili powder and macaroni. Place lid on skillet and cook until macaroni is soft. Stir frequently.
