1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 c. water
Aluminum foil
4 or 5 lb. pot roast

Put roast on large sheet of aluminum foil. Peel potatoes, cut in half. Cut carrots in 1 inch pieces. Place these two around roast on foil. Mix 1 envelope of onion soup mix with 1/4 cup water and pour over roast and vegetables. Seal aluminum foil (this must be in a roaster or a pan). Place in oven for about 3 hours at 350 degrees.
