SICILIAN SAUSAGE SOUP 
1/2 lb. Italian sausage meat (hot or sweet)
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. can chopped tomatoes
3 1/2 c. chicken stock
1 tsp. basil
1/2 c. orzo (or other small pasta)
Salt and pepper

Cook meat in frying pan until all pink is gone. Remove meat from fry pan to large pot. Saute onion in frying pan, until soft, add to sausage. Add other ingredients except orzo, bring to a boil, now add the orzo and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Serve with Italian bread and Parmesan cheese.
