SLOW COOKED CHINESE PORK ROAST 
2 to 3 lb. pork roast
1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. dry sherry
1/2 tsp. grated ginger root
2 chopped green onions
2 crushed garlic cloves

Mix all ingredients except pork roast.

Place roast in oven-proof dish that just fits the roast. Cover with remaining mixed ingredients. Cover pan tightly.

Bake at 300 degrees for 4 to 5 hours.
