VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 med. onion, chopped
3 med. carrots, diced
3 med. potatoes, cubed
2 c. tomatoes or tomato juice
1/3 c. uncooked noodles
Salt and pepper to taste

Simmer beef and water for 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
