TEE'S TURNIP GREEN SOUP 
1 pkg. dry vegetable soup mix (Knorr)
3 pkgs cut and cleaned turnip greens (fresh or frozen)
1 large yellow onion, chopped finely
1 pkg. smoked sausage
water (enough to cover the greens)

OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:

crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
1 pkg. peeled and deveined shrimp, chopped up

Mix all the ingredients in a large stock pot and let cook until the greens go from a bright green to a dark green. The green leaves should be tender.
