ACORN SQUASH 
2 acorn squash
butter
brown sugar
salt

Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Place in a shallow baking pan flesh side down. Add water to one inch depth. Bake in 375 degree oven about 1/2 hour or until squash is tender when poked with a fork. Pour off water and turn squash over skin side down. Place a pat of butter, sprinkle with a little salt and a generous amount of brown sugar. Return to oven for about 1/2 hour or until butter is melted and squash is lightly browned.
