SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 pkg. regular size chocolate cake mix (I use Duncan Hines Devils Food - DO NOT use cake mix with pudding)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Make cake according to package directions. Fill paper baking cups in muffin pans 2/3 full.

Cream the cheese with the sugar. Beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop 1/2 teaspoon of cheese mixture into each cup cake. Bake as package directs. Ice with favorite frosting. Enjoy!!
