CUBE STEAK CASSEROLE 
1 to 1 1/2 lb. cubed steak
1 large onion
all-purpose flour
8 oz. sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom
oil
salt

Preheat oven to 350°F. In large skillet, heat 1/2-inch oil over medium heat. Flour cubed steak and brown on both sides about 3 minutes each side. Place cubed steak in baking dish.

While oil is still hot, slice onion as desired and sauté until onion is soft and semi-transparent. Spoon onion over cubed steak. In a mixing bowl, blend thoroughly sour cream with cream of mushroom soup. Cover cubed steak and onions with soup mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
